what do you think about it and why you don't like it? can it be more than what he is giving?

Somehow, he's managed to make the American healthcare system worse.

I suppose that is quite an accomplishment, really.

The USA does need a fallback healthcare system, over 45000 people died each year because they can't afford to see a doctor. This is sick! For such a rich country, the USA sure has more holes than swiss cheese. I'm a Canadian and can't tell you how wonderful it is to have a nationwide health care system. You tax people anyways, spend the money on healthcare and not the stupid military complex.

Yes, America needs a better healthcare system.

What it does not need is the "buy private, totally unregulated insurance or else" scheme which is currently being proposed.

the bill proposed is imposing regulations, mostly about denying care and raising costs.

Oh, great, now the people forced to buy health insurance instead of food don't have to worry about getting denied.

Thanks, Obama. You are a true friend of the worker.

Well it in no way empowers the community and involves the affected citizens in the decision-making process, which is kinda how this whole "capitalism" thing fucked the working people of the world in the first place; just another illusion that distant representation of dis-empowered constituents coexisting with corporate puppet masters give people a choice.

So let me get this straight, Obama is fucking up healthcare costs even worse and then demanding that we all carry these shitty policies? How are people going to afford these 'mandated health care policy schemes'?

In this video, a GOP jerk admits that he and three Democrats aren't even negotiating the health care bill, they're actively delaying it and getting the Democrats to keep compromising so it essentially weakens it. So not only are the Republicans willing to fight against national health care they're also willing to mess up the current system to deny the Democrats decent health care reform!

Now as Cenk said, this makes the Democrats either totally naive and stupid OR it makes them complicit in the scheme as they're being payed off by the lobbyists.

Watch and learn how the system works.

If you honestly think that the Government cares how you'll afford their massive insurance industry handouts, you must be deluded.

Any chance to line their pockets and the pockets of their cronies will be enthusiastically taken. Our lawmakers are almost all bourgeoisie born and bred anyway, so even if they had some shred of compassion, they cannot understand the situation of the working class.

It's official; the Dems drop the government backed insurance plan, aka the public option. So now we really have the shittiest bill ever passed by Congress! Not only will health care be more expensive but it will also be mandated that every citizen own it.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh god this is more proof that the capitalists don't even have control over their monster anymore. They don't seem to know what they're doing at all.

No, they know exactly what they're doing. The name of the game is apparently to get the public to think they're all a pack of morons...that way when they pass legislation like this that enriches them and their corporate financiers at our expense and at the expense of everything they promised us to get elected, we're supposed to be unsurprised because its just "business as usual" in DC.
