Across the continent: Radical Left in Europe

I'm (un)fortunate enough to do a paper on the radical left acros europe....
So, any suggestions?
Think of thing like:
-Where in Europe (geographically) is the movement strong?
-Where is it weak?
-Where is the radical left authoritarian/libertarian?
-What organisations span the continent? (IST or CWI for example)
-Etc
