just thought i woould introduce myself.
i am teenage irish trotskyist. i am a member of socialist youth which is affialiated to international socialist resistance and the cwi. i dont have constant access to the net so my post may be a bit sporadic.intrests include reading, politics,history and stalinist bashings. anyway...

i can see there are more and more trotskyist here. i think mazdak(are well known stalinist)is about ot leave this forum soon because of this. welcome.

but, maybe you heard about bolivian trostkyist party called POR (Revolutiyonary Worker's Party).

i thin, seeing the "density" of trostkyist here in the forum, we must considerate the creation of a discussion post about our tendencies.

thanks for all your replies.i will try to answer the queries made and make some of my own
1. yep i live in dublin
2. are any of the irish comrades active
3. the comittee for a workers international have sections in 35 countries on all four continents. we believe the the ussr was a deformed workers state more commonly reffered to as stalinist. we try and apply trotskys teacings on the permanent revolution and the transitional program to modren day life. for more info you should check out http://www.worldsocialist-cwi.org/.
4. i think the setting up of a discussion board is a good idea but i think it is important to engage in all discussions in order to win over more people to the cause.

A Trotyskist is a follower of Trotsky, Stalin's rival as successor to Lenin and a key player in the revolution in Russia.
You'd have to ask a Trotskyist for more details, I just am aware that they do not support Socialism in one Country.

The reason there are so many Irish people here is that we have a high standard of education which, combined with the fact that we were oppressed and ruled by vicious idiots for 800 years, has imbued us with a lack of acceptance of the status quo.
