Hello everyone, this is my first post on RevLeft, nice to be here among others who share my beliefs.
Anyway, there is an evironmental blockade/occupation going on in a forest in Bruges, Belgium. I live an hour away from there, have been there once and hopefully will be able to stay there for two nights this weekend. This forest has grown over a former munitions factory, and is not even marked as a forest on the map - it is grey where green should be. But maps aren't important in this case. The occupants of Lappersfort Forest have been there since September 2008, and now they are under threat of eviction, and soon. Like they might not be there anymore this weekend soon.
I was hoping to get some people from my scool to go, although I don't know if any of them are environmentalists. I have 16 copies of a flyer/pamphlet I made, more will be procured later or even tomorrow. Does anyone have a good idea of how I could maximise their impact in school? And where else could I put them?
Thanks :)
