hey everyone,
im obviously new. i joined because im sick of arguing with everyone at my school. 99% of the people are just material kids who dont know shit, fuck it makes me angry. its good to find a whole lot of other people who share similar beliefs to me.
also, it'll be good to meet some aussie revolutionaries, who live in the same environment, and share the same beliefs with.
im originally from belfast, but i now live in australia. a lot of people disagree with the likes of Dubya, but are stil a pack of cappie wankers.
duz anyone here have similar shit that pisses em off?

ummm, mazdak maybe you misunderstood......
im not too keen on the old collectivisation...
hmmmm.....stalin definitely a charismatic leader. industry in the thirites went through the roof. oil supply was 3 times greater in '37 than in '32, industry production was up 4 times in the same perod. did you ever hear about sikhanov? the guy that apparently produced in one shift, about 16 times what a normal worker produced. more people were educated than ever beofre, and the former SU was quickly catching the western powers.
but collectivisation ruined countless kulaks lives, they rebelled and grain production dropped from 80B tonnes to 69B tonnes. and about 20M people were killed. yeah, not so sure bout it....dont you think that the way things were headed that it would have better than to put harsh laws on rich peasant farmers?
i reckon that production was un its way up and up and up, and collectivisation kinda ruined it.
soz, a bit long winded ay?

The KULAKS!!! the kulaks were filthy terrorists. They were wealthy and did not want to lose their fortunes. So they sabotaged things. they deserved what they got.

yeah, maybe your right on the kulaks, but what about the other 20M, did they deserve to perish?

Oh yes, 20 million? LMAO!! This is a greatly exagerrated number. If he had this many killed, where are all the bodies? There are none. You are counting the numbers of people who died from 1918-1945 in war. Sure 20 million russians died. They died fighting against the Third Reich. Not against Stalin's NKVD. Collectivization has its toll.
Why be authoritarian? Because it is realistic. In today's world, everyone is basically greedy and out for personal gain. They are also ignorant. The anarchists and liberetarians are convinced that idiots like the common people should be able to vote and believe in a multiple party system. Since for the most part the masses are ignorant sheep, they will almost never vote for the right person.
This is obvious, look at the US and Bush. Should he be in power? No. But the ignorant masses voted him in(gore wouldnt have been much better.)
Authoritarianism is realistic.... the only way to makle changes is to force them. You think anyone would be willing to give up so much of their lives for posterity. So much of their work for the betterment of mankind. Of course not. Asking doesnt work. Commanding does.
That is all
BTW- it appears Western Sun from another forum is here, yet he hasnt posted. Welcome. Surprised to see you here.

but that sounds rather dictatorial. taking aways someones rights goes against every thing i believe in. humans might be stupid, and misinformed, but they also must have freedom. what you suggest takes away that right. read up on some chilean history, from say 1973 onwards....if you dont have the right to vote, you have a system whereby the masses have no say, thus cannot object to what the ruling body does.

ok, about the 20M...my source was incorrect. but i am now reaing a book, and it says within that Stalin admitted to Churchill that 10M died as a result of poverty and starvation. this was the ripple effect of collectivisation.
are you aware of such an exchange between these leaders?
