I fail to see what makes Tupac such a great rapper, his early stuff was alright sorta like a lesser Ice Cube but nothing special.

He's always on top in great rapper lists but I dont see what places him above such rappers as Big Daddy Kane, Chuck D or Biggie.

The OP link only says that Shakur was "closely involved" with the YCL, not a member. Big difference.
