Just to remind everyone that the English Defence League are going to be holding a protest in Nottingham next weekend.
The UAF are billing their protest at 10am in Market Square (city centre)
Notts Stop the BNP will be gathering at the Royal Centre at 10am.

is a good read, has some good information regarding the football match later that day, etc.

I hope there's a good anti-fascist turn out!

The UAF were shit as per usual (not that i thought they would change)

Bennett claimed victory just after 300 EDL members poured out of a pub and started throwing glasses at an isolated group of anti-fascists and asian people... this was while the whole march was kettled in by the police (did you not learn from Manchester and Leeds?)
No.

Some good effort from locals and some anti-fascists tho. Maybe someone will put up a report, i might do one tomorrow when i've got time.

The UAF seems to like sitting in kettles. No suprise there.

Heard some reports that most of the arrests have been from the facist side and that the Mayor is sympathising with them. Just hearsay at the moment, will post sources if they become available.

I just saw this on the Dutch news. I think it's the first time the news reported on the EDL here.

Had to miss it cos I was working that day and couldn't get it off, but it seems like they were locked in the pubs, obviously would have been allowed out if there wasn't an anti-fascist presence, so good work on those who went!

Good to see the fascist scum getting a hard time but broken bones is what they seem to understand best.

We got reports about some new racist scum group starting in Ireland but hopefully they will never get off the ground ;)
