Well, what is it? How is capitalism 'decaying'? Are there no new markets to open, are there no new prime resources for capital?

I don't dig that theory that capitalism can always reinvent itself.
It was destined to collapse 20 years ago because there were no new markets. Then what happened? USSR, East Germany, Yugoslavia and the whole socialist block collapsed and served as new exploitable market.
Now these have also been dried out (trust me, I live there LOL)
It can only spread to Mars, but since no exploitable race has been found there, I guess capitalism is screwed up for good.
it "was" in decay, but its decay was mostly kept under the radar, what we are seeing today is full blown collapse.
Unfortunately the very last stage will involve armed conflict with citizens which will results in a pretty useless bloodshed, but after that its going to exist only in history books.
I know, I know, I sound like a freaking prophet or something, but this is only my humble observation and nothing more. But you guys kinda hope I'm right.. :thumbup1:

Well if anyone thinks capitalism will collaspe on its own is misleading you. Capitalism will survive even if you're getting paid 1 cent an hour and unable to feed your family.
Capitalism decays in its cyclical crisis of overproduction which means theres more production than there is consumption. This leads to recessions and depressions which can last decades before restarting. Capitalism overmatures and it no longer represents a progressive system of development.
Capitalism is already cannibalizing itself, capitalists are facing worse crises then feudalism EVER faced and that is not including the threat of revolution.

Capitalism will fall in time, the problem is, is that it will climb back up easily.
It will most likely cause a major market collapse and economic failure within our lifetime.
However, without action it will just rebuild itself. The population, as we all know, isn't exactly full of bright intelligent people.
Even the intelligent ones are being mislead by entertainment.
Capitalism has it's roots deep in every hole of our society, the only way to cleanse it (In my opinion) is a civil war of some sort.

Then there is also the fact that capitalism can revert to fascism. However, that often brings out revolt.

While I don't agree with it, it is perhaps worth reading Luxemburg's 'The Accumulation of Capital' for a fairly popular version of this idea.
