THE REAL CURE FOR DEPRESSION IN USA IS A UNITED SOCIALIST WORKERS FRONT FOR THE 2012, 2016, OR 2020 ELECTIONS !!
Hello all: This is just my personal comments about the psychological, emotional state of people around thanksgiving. And i think that only a few in this damn neoliberal economic system of America only a few are able to have the times of their lives and their lives of their times, shopping at Macys, Wal-Mart, Best Buy and living a fulfilled life. Only those in the upper-class (billionaires and millionaires) and in the petty bourgeoise (Real middle class, people who earn between 80,000 dollars a year and 250,000 a year) are having fun.
The majority of americans (people who earn between 8,000 a year and 30,000 a year) are beating the bullets, depressed and not able to fulfill their goals in life, like wanting to be a pilot, a doctotr, a lawyer, an engeneer, an artist, etc.
In this system many poor blacks, poor latinos and poor whites in USA end up in prison, or even without ending up in jails they feel like their lives are a jail. they cannot be a lawyer, a doctor, a pilot, an architect, and are hated by the petty bourgeoise, and upper classes of USA.
You guys gotta realize that the middle class in USA are an oppressor class, are a tool of the upper-class, and work hand in hand with the ruling class to block any third party option in USA.
Tell a middle class citizen in USA to read a Marx book or to vote for a socialist party, and they will tell you to go to live in Cuba or in North Korea, or raise the Pol Pot, Mugabe, Stalin or Mao card.
USA itself is like a jail for 70% of USA, a prison, a trap, and only a United Socialist Front can liberate that 70% of americans who can't be doctors, lawyers, or whatever goal they have but they cannot fulfillit in this celebrity upper-class system

I thought petit-bourgeois were small business owners and such? Also, I thought that the "middle" class was kind of the watershed between the less well-off bourgeois and better off workers? Or is it just generalized solely by income?

Eh, this post seems a little histrionic. There's a couple of things I'd like to point out in particular.
Firstly, as a sufferer of clinical depression, I have to take umbrage at the notion that depression is solely caused by economic conditions - yes, certainly it contributes in a major way, but let's not be like Scientologists and undermine the value of pharmaceuticals that treat psychological disease, like Zoloft. The truth is, one of the crimes of capitalism is that it undermines the ability of everyone who needs them to get them.
Secondly, I don't think people are depressed because they can't get their dream job per se, but because they can't meet their material needs or desires without extreme difficulties, paying bills, paying mortgages. Frankly, it's just not realistic to expect that even Socialism can create a society where everybody has to be an architect or a doctor, there's only going to be such a need for those skills and we have 6 billion people on Earth. But we can make the quality of life of everyone equally as good and give those individuals with the skills the opportunities to pursue them.
Thirdly, why the hell are you going Socialist evangelist here of all places? Most of the people who come to this forum are already in the Socialist camp. Unless you're trying to argue that the real goal of US socialists should be a victory in the federal elections, ie, 2012, 2016, etc? In which case, you should probably check out Communist Party of America, they're into that, fat load of good it does them.

But why are you don't have an absolute truth on a recipe on how to achieve socialism, nobody in this world, not even Marx, Lenin and Trotsky had a magic cure for capitalism. If you have a perfect recipe on how to achieve socialism, go ahead do it, and when USA becomes socialist call me. And you are not an Einstein, a Karl Marx and a self appointed judge, nobody is. And I like to preach socialism to socialists, what's wrong with that?
It is real easy to debate in forums and to tell people what is right and wrong, but internet forums are not reality. Reality bites. The real world out there is tough my friend.
So until then, le me keep preaching socialism, and don't be so shy, the FBI, CIA wont throw you in jail for preaching socialism.
oh by the way, only socialism can cure depression, not zoloft and prozac. Zoloft and prozac are stupid medicines.

I have no idea what the hell this means.

Um. Yes?
So until then, le me keep preaching socialism, and don't be so shy, the FBI, CIA wont throw you in jail for preaching socialism.
Yeah I don't think being shy has anything to do with it. It's just a little silly to show up here and start proclaiming the benefits of Socialism as though you're bringing us a revelation.

Exactly, and with the word of Marx alone, we can also cure cancer.

Any type of proof for that? I've seen Prozac do some damn good things in friends of mine that were depressed.
