I'm guessing alot fo them are posers and not committed, or they don't know hoe to use a message board.

Cuz for some reason they post here and you never see them again

i think that a lot of them register on the board, post in here, and then spend a lot of time reading and not posting. i think they do it for the same reason i didnt post much in the beginning, they dont know a lot about the stuff here, but show a general interest, and would like to read what we all have to say, learn, and then later post when they feel more comfortable. give it time, some will come back and become regular posters, and some will fall off the face of the planet.

Give them some time.
Let them read the old topics, so we wont repeat the same things.

Or they could've lost their password (like I did) and just not bothered to come back and have it sent to them. I was a member for a month or so before I made a post, just seeing what the mentality of the site was and who I should probably avoid. :)

it shouldn't be a problem if people leave, i'm still feeling out this site as well as the people on it to determine if it would be a rewarding experience to stay.... no disrespect to the site or it's members, but if i leave does it make me a poser?

I'm so called new here. :)
But you see it's not my point of view to write something
in every topic of every room. Because, sometimes, i don't
know the theme (which is in topic) good. If i see something
what i REALLY know good, i'll post a message. But in the
other way, i better be silent and won't write some stupid
messages anywhere.

P.S. Apologise for mistakes (if you'll find 'em).

Hi. Being new here myself, I would think that most people like the idea of being a member of a left-wing BB, but then find themselves way out of their depth. I have had discussions with self-stylised Marxists who haven't a clue about what they are espouting. Most will just join for the image, to feel like they are a part of something a little subversive, without having the slightest interest in politics.

Just my view, I could be way off the mark there.

hey everyone, im a new comer, and iv gone a bit nuts with the posting. but what holds us back, i think, is that we might be afraid that we dont know enough about a topic and dont want to stick our nose in. Does that make sense?

I post on another board more but I read alot here. I don't really have much to say anyways in anything other than the music board...
