Che Guevara
Joseph Stalin
Fidel Castro
Leon Trotsky
V. Lenin
MaoTse Tung

How can anyone say any of these people were counter revolutionares, They had different theories of how to bring aout and defend socialism, che for instance was a self pronounced ML, yet when he was captured in Bolivia he was found to have literature of leon Trotsky, who had a different theory to bring about the same ends

"Che grew steadily disillusioned with Stalinism and sharply criticised the conservative role of the Russian bureaucracy. Increasingly he searched for new ideas and a new way forward. It was not for nothing that when he was killed he had in his nap sack a copy of Trotsky's History of the Russian Revolution"

Above quote on guevara is from the socialist appeal.
All these men wanted to bring about communist revolution, so how are they anything oher than comrades, it is pathetic to say someone is a counter revolutionary because they have a slightly differing theory, marx and engels would of been proud of all these comrades the hate betwen sects is really pathetic, i think Maoism is the best way forward, i think ML is a great ideology, and i think the concept of permanent revolution is redder than red.
All are just guides to a destination
Why do you disagree/agree

Just because Che read Trotsky, it doesn't mean that Trotsky was a great Communist. I have read Trotsky, I'm still a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, I still think that the Trotskyist is the imperialist's best friend. Sectarianism doesn't even come into it, if you don't agree with someone's ideas, make it known, the last thing we need is Trotskyists and Leninists fighting a revolution together, just so that they can kill each other when it is over with.

Agreed.

Lol.

I still think that the Trotskyist is the imperialist's best friend.
That's cos you're nuts (hence the Stalinism but ... ), go on, explain. See, I would have thought that the state was the imperialists best friend, but there you go, it's the trots again, shoulda known.

And when we do crush it, what will we replace it with if nobody can agree on anything? We don't need unity between sects, we need unity of the workers.

It should be pretty obvious. If anyone is interested to know why I think that Trotskyism is not an anti-imperialist theory they can PM me, I'm not willing to start a tendency war I'm afraid.

we all want a communist utopia, we just have different strategy

I think you are mistaken, personally I do no not subscribe to utopian ideas, science is all I believe in. Regardless, yes, we have different strategies, so which strategy will we use come the revolution? Before it has even begun we are arguing amongst ourselves.

Trotsky and stalin wanted what was best for the USSR, were either counter revolutionaries?...NO

The hangman and the hanged can not be revolutionary at the same time.

Marxism-Leninsim AND Trotsyism have been extremly useful tools for derailing and crushing worker struggles and revolutionary movements. Kronstadt was glorious!
It's all very well to say that any anti-capitalist is a comrade of mine, however I pose the question of whether stalinism or trotskyism are truly anti-capitalist.
