I have sent 2 applications to the YCLUSA (I am 15), and I have not gotten a response yet.:(
I thought at first, my first application did not send properly, but when I sent another one and waited for two days without an email, I don't know what happened.
Is the YCLUSA still active or did they dissolve?
And if they are still together, how can I join?

The CPUSA is not a communist party, despite its name, they actively support the Democrats. I don't know much about the YCLUSA, but my guess is that they're not much better. I wouldn't touch them with a ten feet pole.

When I was as young as you are I also tried to join the CPUSA / YCL. I never got a reply back either.
Perhaps they are afraid of what perspectives new members could bring to their party. It's best to look into other parties, like the SPUSA (which has YPSL). If you join the SPUSA you can get automatic membership in both.

They could just be either really inactive, or slow at replying back.

Yeah I felt that they were just sort of "Hardcore" or ultra-Democrats seeing as they view Obama as a gateway for future socialist presidents.

They are a joke, and not worth the time of day... I myself sent a message to the PSL, but haven't heard back. I feel like I just gotta walk up there and be like "Hey! I'm a commie! Open the door! The password is Marx's beard!" Or I could call.

I've heard the same general thing about the PSL and e-mails before. I recommend you call them or call one of the National Offices (San Francisco or Washington D.C.) and tell them you're interested in working with us. Because www.SocialismandLiberation.org (http://www.SocialismandLiberation.org) is down due to the website transition, the e-mail addresses that were routed through it seem to be down as well. It's not your fault or theres, but merely technical problems. Just give your nearest branch a call.
