Brian Haw has camped in Parliament Square since 2001 in protest against UK treatment of Iraq. Apart from his standing for Parliament in 2005, is camping strategically effective, given Iraq was invaded and continues to be occupied? Also, ideologically, what sort of society does he want to see? Is it a capitalist one with a purely self-defence foreign policy? I understand in 2008 he called for support for the Christian Choice Assembly in the London Mayoral elections.

Im in the same boat as yourself. If I'd a different opinion id talk about it but the guy is one huge question mark for me to be honest.

Don't be fooled, he is a pacifist, camping outside Parliament only gives the politicians something to laugh at in the mornings while they come in to discuss how to exploit people even more effectively.
