People have probably heard about people bringing guns to anti-obama/tea party rallies in states that allow open carrying. So my question is would you wear something like this, including the gun to a protest if doing so was legal?

I love the vest. I wish I could wear one every day to hold the various shit i have to carry around. And no; I'd rather be discreet.

No, because if you show up dressed like that you make yourself an obvious target. Just because idiot tea baggers bring guns to their protests means we should do the same thing, because the same rules don't apply. Their protests are tolerated because there not really protests in the real sense of the word; tea baggers are just a bunch of ignorant and mostly racist people who are pissed about Obama getting elected.
btw the camo is akin to imperialist US troop's camo, so no I would never wear that.

But you look like a soldier not a protester!
And where the hell do they allow a machine gun to be carried on the street?

I think this was a pretty idiotic question to ask. People have been banned before over pro-weapons talk, as it hurts the whole community. Consider yourself warned.

My apologies. I guess I crossed a line with my humor on this occasion. I appreciate the warning. While I was joking, when I saw how much media attention this teabaggers with guns recieved, it got me thinking about it as a tactic. Such actions on the part of the left (and the right I am sure) only garner unwanted attention from the authorities, give the media ammo to use against us and make the movement an unappealing thing to join. In short it would serve no positive purpose.
And where the hell do they allow a machine gun to be carried on the street?
Vermont and many other states. A teabagger did it in pheonix, I know.

Uh, what?
1) There is nothing illegal or inherently "wrong" about being "pro-weapon" (whatever that means)
2) Where is the posted rule against being "pro-weapon"?
3) What the fuck does "pro-weapon" mean?

The thing is I don't think you're 'joking', and neither does a lot of our membership, or any new comrades joining the board. If you are 'joking', are we to take it that you therefore deliberately troll the board as you post these threads so often?

Define troll and these threads and I would be glad to answer your question. You seem to go out of your way to find my threads/posts to tell me what an idiot I am, would that not qualify as trolling?

I'd hit up Che's combat fatigues and a pistol. Along with the red star béret.

This thread has now turned into "What do you wear when you go to a protest?"
I'll go first.
Something along these lines, though with less of a heel.

The warning point is stupid. He's not advocating violence of any kind, only the carrying of a weapon in public (which is perfectly legal in the USA).
