Although I am not a complete novice when it comes to socialist theory and historical interpretation, I must admit to knowing very little about this subject, and it is something I feel I should have more knowledge on.

I'm not looking to be dictated to, i'm here to ask if I can be linked to some (fairly) objective historical sources which cite this event.

I recognise that anti-revisionists and revisionists will obviously link to different types of sources, so a variety of input would be appreciated so I can draw my own conclusions.;)

Look, I'm not going to point you to an objective source, because there is no such thing when it comes to Katyn, there are bourgeois accounts of what happened, there are fascist accounts of what happened, and there are Communist accounts of what happened, you decide what you want to believe. All I will say is that the Nazis did it (http://www.cpgb-ml.org/index.php?secName=proletarian&subName=display&art=534&from=results).

Is it like discussing who was worst between these 2 psychopathic "high security" officers (Hoover vs. Beria)?

I wasn't after objective evidence. Just a range of sources to browse so that I can make my own mind up. Thanks.

My gives a shit is broken for Polish officers, really. I think it very likely, though, that it was carried out on Stalin's orders.

I went to the Stalin society lecture on this but i never got why it really matters. Sure the murder of 1000s is never a nice thing, but they were Army Officers, anticommunists and allies/members of the Polish ruling class.
