This song was written following the band's performance at a straight edge vegan festival in Syracuse, New York. The band had played the song "Women: Nature's Punching Bag" and had received complaints from women in the audience, which inspired them to write an even worse misogynistic song. It is alleged that the promoter only invited Anal **** to play to "piss everyone off".

So yeah, just ignore them. Unless it's their cover of the hungry hungry hippos song, that's fucking class.

I've never listened to 'em, from the looks of it they're a grindcore band, and I usually fucking love grindcore (Waking the Cadaver being one of my favorites). Most grindcore bands usually use provocative lyrics (i.e., "Pigtails are for Face Fucking"), but judging from their song titles ("The Internet is Gay", "Ha Ha Holocaust") they seem to be going for the 5th grade playground/racism label, which isn't anything short of unimpressive.

They're a noisegrind band, that started out as "anti-music" that came to be based solely on offending people, they don't really beat women and light children on fire. Their first EP, "The 5643 Song EP" was 11 minutes of improvised noise. They had no set, no written songs in the beginning of their existence, and they still played live. They'd just make noise. My favorite song by them is "Everyone in Anal **** is Gay".

Traditional grindcore isn't typically like Anal ****. Oh, and Waking the Cadaver isn't Grind.

Are you sure "dark" is the word there? The point of dark humour is not simply to say whatever you imagine is the "worst" or most "shocking" thing to provoke a reaction and then laugh. Dark humour is humour that skates the edge of taste by highlighting tragedy and despair in order to make light of it, it's an incredibly difficult form of humour to do well. Anal **** (and 4Chan etc) if they are, in fact, trying for dark humour (as opposed to shock or gross out humour) are failing abysmally.

Also, to call them fifth-grade level actually doesn't do justice to how well integrated they are into the fifth-grade mindset. The strange use of very rigidly sequential narrative form is childish to a level beyond the reach of most children:

The music is extremely unprofessional grind - grind is probably still close enough to punk for open lo-fi sloppiness to count for the good in some people's minds, but they're in no way an essential band in the style. Anyway, there's still enough of the nihilistic 15-year-old BM elitist in me that I find AC an intermittent source of diversion. I am unconcerned about their politics, since it's all the work of a single atomised (and, in one way or another, deeply disturbed) individual whose bigotry isn't going to get him in a brown shirt in a million years, and it would be a monumental concession to Putnam's ego to imply that he has facilitated the spread of racist ideology in any way. Is anyone really going to get to Holocaust denial from 'Hebosaurus'?
