Just wondering if someone could please explain to me a Marxist perspective of : religion, fame/celebrity culture? And also if religion would be practiced under a communist government?

Many thanks.

religion, fame/celebrity culture

In a Communist society there would be no official 'state religion' though it does not stop people from practicing it.
However a lot Communists view Religion as something that has brought the world a lot of trouble and therefore have somewhat anti- thiest views.

Celebrity culture is generally not approved of by Marxists, They generally don't approve of it as it is raising people above society and idolizing them.
Also Celebrity culture has brought us a lot of bad;
It has to an extent caused a lot of girls to become Anorexic sometimes to the point that they even end up dying.
it brings this Consumer Culture to an extreme with promoting Designer clothing, etc etc.

But this is all a very basic explanation.
On religion Marx had a few words on it, calling religion the Opium of the masses.
