erm... ok, so hi to y'all. *this feels all so self-indilgent*
ok, so i'm new here. my nick is womperstomper and i've been hanging around some other chat forum things and though i'd check out what's happening here.
i'm a homemaker that spend his spare time getting involved with human rights campaigns. i'm involved with Amnesty International, Australian Tibet Council, Refugee Action Committee, Anti-Slavery Network, and I just did my first stint collecting donations for the Red Cross.
I'm by no means a subscriber of communism, and I might be considered a Socialist though I've never studied it's ideologies.
I think my spiritual beliefs have given me a social conscience, and I am currently investigating the physical applications of such a conviction.
i have three small children (ages 7, 6, 3) and have a trade in desktop publishing - so if anyone needs an online dtp lemme know.
i am also interested in hearing some roots/revo/folk so if anyone has some suggestions...
erm... i like the simpsons (is that imperialist?), i'm currently reading A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson and some local history book written by some obscure councillor in the 1960's.... and i'm also a big music fan... many styles from johnny cash to napalm death to loreena mckennitt to moby... and so on....
