I'm an aspiring writer (also a child of the 90s' brought up on shows like Buffy). I've read a brief analysis of the Dracula-vampire representing the evil of the old Aristocracy. but what about the more recent trend in vampire fiction (talking good fiction, not that Twilight rubbish). What does anyone think about a story where a communist/socialist becomes a vampire and attempts to reconcile this with their social/political views?

A vampire is a parasite. Socialism aims to abolish vampirism.

That's the whole plotline, dummy ;)

Anyway, I'd say you stole it from White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade faction of Anarchs. (http://wiki.white-wolf.com/worldofdarkness/index.php?title=Anarchs)

Which is, by the way, a very, very nice roleplayinggame. My favourite, actually.

A moronic one, no doubt.
