Slowly but surely, the WIIU is coming back to life, after a several months-long lull in its activity since the founding of the union earlier this year.
At any rate, the monthly Industrial Union News is back in production, with the latest issue available for download at their website, linked to in my sig.
Thoughts?

How big is it so far? What kind of influence does it have?

In all honesty we're quite small right now. Aside from a spattering of unorganized members, we have Workers' Assemblies (like GMBs) in Cedar Rapids and Detroit, and a Workplace Unit at a Detroit printing shop that is currently building up forces among the workers there for a unionization drive. If that takes off, it'll be our first covered shop, and we'll go from there.
The paper is quite good though IMO, that combined with its low price (25 cents) means it could become a very useful tool in terms of bringing new people into the organization. Initially this will probably take the form of Workers' Assemblies, but we are looking for ways to consciously divert our as-yet still very limited resources into the building of workplace branches.

25 $ cents is like 16 eurocents! And while it is just two pages, that is still very cheap. Cool stuff :)
