"Shoot you coward, you're only killing a man"
I spent ages trying to figure out why on earth he said those words !!
Could be because he never considered himself to be someone important ?? What's your opinion of this ??

I think it was because communism shows a complete unity, and killing one member will not kill the entire body. Besides- like this site's URL says- although Che was physically killed you cannot kill the spirit of communism, which is why he didn't say something along the lines of "You're only killing me".
Also consider how many people capitalism has killed in all, as opposed to just shooting a man. He was almost daring the guy to shoot because it was nothing in comparison to what capitalism has done.

The soldiers guarding him drew lots to see who would have the honor of killing Che. A young sergeant won the drawing and being cocky, boasted that he would be the one to kill the notorious Guevara. But when the hour came he walked into the classroom where Che was being held and began to shake with fear. He was terrified of killing the most influential revolutionary of the time, so Che simply gave one last statement of defiance.
