Ladies,
There was 1 hour of full-scale propaganda machine running in german TV about the "fall of tyranny"
Now there are celebrities performing... what has this world come to?
Even OBAMA said when the wall came down, the world was finally free of tyranny and oppression. Some random "guy" from the former GDR held a speech about how they put him into chains, tortured him and threw him over the wall.
Well I can't exactly remember who said what, but Merkel talked about "freedom on earth", as well as EQUALITY after the wall came down.
They also said pollution can be fought TOGETHER with the people, as well as CHANGE. THEY ACT LIKE THE MASSES HAD ANY POWER
I really normally don't like the stalinist states, but I'm with you leninists on this one
Just at this second some teenie had a little interview. He said(it's a ***** to translate); "Thousands of people at the monday protests, cheering at the wall", suddenly the reporter INTERVENED SAYING "the FALL of the wall", with the teen saying "sorry, I'm so excited." Makes me think.
"The ideas of the people are stronger than any wall! The feelings of our people are the most important thing! Now the people in europe can travel anywhere, meet and study!"
I can really imagine the capitalists laughing their asses off while sticking the millions into the pockets of politicians, celebrities & whores

After all it's just a big propaganda party.Totally agreed. Infact all this has done in my view is showcase exactly how stupid these 'elites' take the people of the former eastern block to be. Its like they think that they can just thow coca cola and hotdogs at them and they will start a revolution or something.
Sure, the terrors of all the states needs to be acknowledged, but to spurt of buzzphrases such as 'a freedom on earth' and 'the end of tyranny and oppression' surely must seem rather daft to most of these people after the reality of the world after the soviet block. There hardly is freedom of earth is there really? As for the end of tyranny and oppression? I dont need to say much more really.
Obviously it was good to see an end of the oppression of the former socialistic states, but trying to tell people that what they have now is like some sort of heaven on earth, seems alittle disrespectfull and antagonising to me. And yes, imo thats exactly what they are trying to do.

In my German class today, we had a class on the Berlin Wall. I was excited to have a debate/discussion on the pros/cons of the Wall, but instead our substitute instructor made us watch a 1-hour long anti-DDR documentary. It focused heavily on the number of people who were shot, and with people who fled to West Germany. It was very sensational and clearly pro-West.
Since we spent almost all class watching that doc (which ended with the line "The East Germans wanted to try building socialism, and they believed that putting up a wall was the best way to do it," which is sort of BS because it ignores the material circumstances), our substitute prof ended the class by asking about how bad the DDR was, from what we saw in the documentary.
I'm no M-L, but I was angry. There was no room for discussion or mention of the good things about the DDR, or that many East Germans are nostalgic for it.
It's sort of disgusting how some people will not even acknowledge anything remotely positive about the DDR (or other similar states), simply because they were "socialist" or "communist."

and they say there are liberal teachers in schools and universities?!
clearly a one sided view with sensationalist crocodile tears...
these people do not give a fuck about any dying people, only when the so-called "enemy" commits crimes of aggression, these hypocrites then love to denounce it!
but when their regimes(NATO) commit crimes, they whitewash them or claim they are benevolent!
i'm no ML also, not at all actually, but shit like this disgusts me and the people fall for this...society is morally so bankrupt
