I have a copy of the Rand Reports, which are right-wing, but actually do a good investigation of the ways in which the PCP and MRTA functioned and built bases (or didn't) in Peru. Send me a PM and I'll hook you up.

For info on the PCP, you can read El Diario's "Interview with Chairman Gonzalo" for a view of the ideology of the party. I don't really know much about the MRTA, except for they used a more Guevarista approach to revolution (i.e. Guerrilla Foco Theory) in Peru as opposed to the more Maoist approach of the PCP.

If you speak Spanish or you don't mind to read automated translations of docs in other languages to English, here is a web page dealing with Latino-American guerrilla documents: http://www.cedema.org/index.php?ver=portada

As a matter of fact MRTA web page has no new content since years ago.
