Why do so many WHITE communists level accusations of being this and that at people who question prejudice in prominent revolutionaries, they even say Marx was racists, but thats ok because he was Marx.
Fuck you if i called you cracker we would see alot more backlash.

Is it alright if BROWN communists question the point of a thread that seems dedicated to sniping at people in silly ways in want of argument?

he is right man, people do attack anyone who questions if any red historical figure was racist, it is ridiculous and yeah brown people are free to comment:)

I agree.

I would hope that people are Marxists because they sincerely agree with some/most/all of what he says, not because he is some dogmatic symbol of socialism who must be defended, intellectually and personally, at all costs.

I suspect that many people on the left have a different attitude, a reason why we are in our current mess.

As Lucio Colletti once pointed out, it's a well-known fact that most Marxists do not read Marx, so the arrows you seem to be attempting to fly fall flat. And I'm fairly sure we're not in the situation we're in because of people denying that Marx was a racist. Sorry if I come out as a little harsh here, but quite honestly it tires me when practically every debate on the subject, and many others, ends with some people discarding historical accuracy while hiding behind the shield of 'anti-dogmatism'.

Faux anti-racism optional. Seriously, if the argument referred to in the OP is incorrect, one has to wonder why it is worth mention that its proponents are white, let alone WHITE (!!!). The sad part being that this isn't the first time I've seen that kind of thing happen here.
