Greetings Comrades!
First off...
My name: Noah
Age: 17
Location: Washington state
I'd like to learn more about my fellow comrades out there. I've known about Che for a little over a year, but I was first exposed to the greatness of socialism and communism when I was 14 and Che has become someone I look up to. I've been at this site before but only started to look at these forums yesterday and I wanted to join in the discussion. I hope to learn more about you and if you have any questions for me feel free to ask.

Hey, welcome to the forum, I'm sixteen and live in the UK, just North of London.
Other than that there isn't much else to say.

hey, i too live in the UK, but am 17.
I am a mosher by the stereotyped names of my region... which pretty much means freak... i like metal, hard rock, and all their variations.. and also classical music :)
i like chains and spikey things too :)
well, i found communism a while ago, and found it a lonely path to walk... i generally just stick to my principles and say fuck it to the world tho... i found much of the basis for my beleifs in what i would call 'actual' christianity, tho i aint a christian and never have been... e.g i dont think there is a better phrase than "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"...
my heroes include ghandi, che and one of my teachers...
my favourite past time is getting drunk and stoned while at the Krazy House, a mosh club in liverpool.
I read a lot, and also write poetry prolifically...
tho most of it is shite..
here's a sample:
welcome to the land the other side of hope,
the place so complacent, held up by the dope,
the people till and toil in the dirty soil,
a dirt clings of the creed of filthy greed,
a muck and a crap that wont be shifted with soap,
so about in the dirt for their souls they grope,
but all they can find is the pain of the stain,
as they get high and become shy and tame.
anyway, as for questions, i suppose i just have the one:
do you share any similarities with me?
oh, and also, i hear that in DC you dont get represented at all in govt... is that true?

It's nice to meet all of you. I've been reading some of your posts commiebastard, lots of power, I like that. As for music, similar intrests, classicsal music is very powerful, and pure. And as for D.C. I've heard in the past there have been arguments about taxation without representation, but I'm from Washington State, in the Northwest U$A, no worries.

Nice to meet you Pyro, lots of people from the UK.
Hey, I heard that the Labour party was originally started by the Fabians, is that true, and if it is how are there policies related to socialism now? If anyone could help me it would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks

I race canadian canoes for sprint and marathon distances (anything from 200m to 13 miles.)
The Labour Party sucks, they run the country like it's a one party state except without making the opposition illegal. They deselect members who vote against the official party line and all decisions are controlled by the "national executive." They've got policies which are not much better than the conservative party.
Britain is basically a very complicated dictatorship.

Hi, Noah.
Name: Lindsay
Age: 22
Location: Washington, DC
I've only been to Washington state once. We stayed in Seattle for most of the time, but we went to Olympia for one day and saw all of the important buildings. My friend pissed on one of the trees outside of the state congress, in that huge garden.
I've only got one question for you: Why are people on the west coast so paranoid about crossing against the light?

The Fabians were on of numerous groups that helped in the founding of the Labour party. They were the intellectual bourgoisie element of the original party, the rest were trade union leaders and other worker's organisations.

As to why people on the west coast are so paranoid against crossing against the light, sorry, but it beats the hell out of me. I live seven miles from the nearest traffic light.
