David Haye vs Nikolai Valuev

Well its the big one tommorow. I reccomend finding a pub to watch it in now, because otherwise its about 15 quid from sky.

Odds slightly in favour of Haye on account of his record, but obviously this could go either way, with Valuev known to last 12 rounds despite the enormous weight he is carrying.

My money is going on a Haye knockout, I'm still deciding what round, but I'm feeling the 10th. Good odds too.

Blimey justs finnished watching it. All i can say is that after hearing the final scorecards, valuev was slightly robbed imo. There was one by 2points and the other 2 were to haye by 4 (yes 4) points!. In other words, both fighters were fucking awful. Respect for Haye however for fighting a good tactical fight.

Boxing judges are idiots most of the time, the scoring is wildly inconsistent and usually questionable. I didn't watch the Haye/Valuev fight, but I'm happy to see Zab Judah back in the game and winning. Looking forward to Cotto/Pacquiao too, of course.

I honestly thought Valuev's sheer size would be enough to carry him through it. I didn't see the fight, but I heard that Haye boxed a good fight so fair play to him.

I didn't see the fight, but I heard that Haye boxed a good fight so fair play to him.I actually thought that Valuev was a decent champion considering how large he is, but he had a dreadfull fight that night. Probably did deserve to loose, imo. But only because of Hayes superior tactics on the night.
