Why must you use it all the fucking time!?!? Am i the only one that thinks its over played in the communist community and is just annoying?

1. No it isn't annoying. It can be if someone is like. SO comrade did you ahve a good time? You did? That's good comrade. What did yo do after that comrade?

Greeting "Good day comrade" is fine. Using comrade as in "we must fight with our comrades in Belarus" etc is fine.

As long as it isn;t overused.

2. Not just the communist community uses it. It is a more popular term of endearment with us, but it isn't ours.

Basically I'm trolling in my previous posts in this thread.

Comrade is not over-used and quite frankly, I like it.

It can only be a little annoying when it feels like we our sliding into a stereotype that also harbors some pretty bad connotations.

Yes, it annoys me too. It seems that anarchists don't do it, just the "organised" "socialists" in the statist socialist parties.

yuon.

It manages to be both used in a manner that makes us look silly and be a word that doesn't wuite have the communist associations you would think.

It is also used at meetings of the Labour Party in the UK after all.

The world "brother" is used in IWW and other union circles at least here in the USA--I guess it means the same thing without that Bolshevik taint.

And on that note I'm closing this thread. If you need a reason you've clearly not read a single post in it.
