Fairly recently, there was a declassification of some hidden documents from the US-based corporation ITT, in which it was established that this company directly used Nixon and US forces to engineer (at least partially) the Allende assassination in 1973. The motive was, predictably, that the corporation had sunk a bunch of heavy investments into the globalist exploitation of Chile; and a revolutionary socialist president was threatening to nationalize away their "right" to profit in their industry in the country. They began with a series of US attempts, through Kissinger and other key North American politicians, to block Allende's confirmation. They ended, as we all know, in the assassination and the Pinochet coup.
What are some of your thoughts and opinions on this subject? I do not have the reference to the book in English; but I can dig it back up and translate it soon if needed, probably tonight if I get around to it.
