RED ARMY FACTION
2nd November 2009, 01:19
I am back from paris comrades, i shortened my stay as i am gearing up for a journey to new york.
There were some parts of paris, particurly the northern, muslim dominated ghettos that were usefull for writing on the perils of first world slums.
But the language barrier and the fact i was having trouble finding accomidation except from in the tourist areas hampered progress.
But i have already planned my next destination, New york.
I will go and fully submerge myself in the new york proletariat.
I am hoping not only to interview workers but also all aspects of the slums of the most famous city on earth.
i will interview gangs
police
workers
schools
hopefully members of the black panthers to see what they are doing in the community since their readoption of black nationalism and will try and lay bare all the occurances in the streets of NY from all angles.
i was wondering if any comrades from NY could tell me of any flats or housing and jobs i could obtain.
i have around 100 pages of the book on paris and the racist and islamaphobic cramming of men and women of Algerian(mostly) descent.
thanks comrades hope you can help me out if you live in NY.
