Hello to all. I am a Ex-pat Brit, living in NYC. Been here for 3 years. Married to an American.
It's not easy being a socialist in America. In the US, socialism is not so much a ideology, as a synonym(sic?) for anti-american, and un-american.
I am currently interested in Native American rights, reading all i can about the Genocidal policies that the US have carried out right here in this land of the free, and would rate Tecumseh as the greatest American who ever lived. Che would be second.
I am also in the middle of a novel, in which the two aforementioned people come back to life , in present day America. I am very interested in Che, the person, as well as American attitudes to Che, international politics, and all a lot of other things,

Welcome Paul... as I just mentioned in the tread in Chit Chat... I'm 60 miles away from you on Long Island NY... here in Suffolk County. I'm probobly the one who's most geographicly close to you... I think someone's from upstate somewhere and Nickadermus is from Ottowa Canada wich is fairly nearby.

Other than that... we are scattered all over the world... From Australia to the Middle east, South America, Europe, etc...

ah another nyorker, well paul just thought I'd let you know, I do agree that both Tecumseh and Che are admirable people, that Che could never be the second greatest american, cause he wasn't an american.

So says someone who has never read Che. Che thought of himself as "American".

You come to a site about political science and end up discussing Rainbow - how ironic.

Hey! you started it, and Rainbow is Political Science. I use Rainbow to illustrate the difference between US politics and the rest of the world.
