I'm new here, but I must admit to frequently visiting this site for a while now, looking at posts and learning.
I'm from the United States(the Bible Belt, to be more clear) and I don't have many friends who agree with me completely on my worldviews. That is to say, not many people I know are typical Leftists(while they do hold some Leftist views on certain things). The Revolutionary scene here, from what I've witnessed, is nearly non-existent. Making me feel increasingly lonely when it comes to soclialogical/political/economic views. :(
As far as my Leftist stance goes, I'm a Marxist. I have been for about a year. And I'm not really one for sectarianism. I don't believe in "Socialism in One Country" and many of the things Stalin did I don't agree with, but I'm not anti-Stalinist. However, I still have much to learn about all the differing currents(I may adhere to one and not even know it).
Anyways, I look forward to the discussions I will have here, and there's no doubt in my mind that I am going to learn a lot. :D
