What Would Durruti Do?

I made a thread on this earlier but apparently it was deleted? Just wondering why/who I should talk to about it?
If this isn't an acceptable way to deal with this issue, it'd be nice if a mod would at least PM me about what I did wrong.

Well, I'm not sure, but I suspect that the question falls under the "no weapons etc." rule.
Next time you have a question like this, I suggest starting a thread in the members forum, or sending a PM to a mod or admin who is on line.

It depends what the purpose of the post was. We discuss armed revolutionary groups on the board all the time, but if you were posting expressing interest in JOINING an armed struggle, well, this isn't really the most secure place to do that and it puts all of us at risk. Keep in mind that a lot of these groups (FARC, PCP-SL, CPI Maoist, ELN, etc.) are deemed terrorist organizations by the US. Hope that helps.

It wasn't about joining anything, it was more speculation/curiosity about leftist paramilitaries made up of international volunteers who travel to places of high oppression around the world (the example I used was Darfur) for the sole purpose of protecting the working class/peasants of that area from state/capitalist/religious persecution and/or exploitation.
My question was if this sort of thing had ever been attempted in history before, or even considered by any groups of leftists? Obviously it would require some fairly large financial backing (which leftists usually don't have) so I doubt anything like it would have been very successful, but I was curious none the less.
If this is against the rules I apologize, but I didn't see a problem with wondering about this sort of thing.

There is the problem.
So we can't even discuss past instances of the issue? I'm not saying we should form one or anything.
