Im wanting to make a banner that can protect against police dogs etc. I was wondering if anyone had an ideas, designs or websites they know of, would be a massive help as im making it tomorrow

Well, you just need some good material. Some heavy, thick plastic is pretty good. Around here, you can usually find this stuff attached to barriers around building sites.

I am assuming that a woven polymer/synthetic plastic fabric, if stretched tight would deflect incoming, non-bullet projectiles. I have never do it so but It seems like it would work.

Anti-dog banners? i dunno about that. they are pretty strong and agile and could circumvent any barrier pretty easily.

A banner that would protect against dogs seems pretty difficult, what you need is to make sure the dog can't go under the banner, so you'll need some kind of framework to reinforce the banner. Maybe you could just put some vertical sticks along the fabric, something like 1m apart. and have people hold every stick, then make sure everyone holds on thight to their sticks when the cops charge of use dogs or watercanons or anything.
