We need a list of new (English) terms that are just downright stupid and should be banished from the lexicon. All revlefters are encouraged to refrain from using these terms.
Here are a few I can come up with right now:
"Foodie" what's wrong with gourmet?
xyz"-ster" please, I beg of you.
"Webinar" dear lord.
More to come.

"Stupidest" - it just breaks grammar! Its meant to be "most stupid."

languages change over time. its just happening MUCH faster due to the internet. i recently wrote an essay on internet and gaming slang for english and realized that some words are taking on new meanings in real life speech amongst internet dwellers and gamers. i think its a bit exciting. though i dont like the english language much, it is a very flexible one.
i just hate grammar:

I know that cookery is the most pretentious thing in the world, but all words relating to it seem to be French loans. Such as nouveau cuisine, which was chosen because malnutrition is too closely linked to the proletariat.

Nowt wrong with this. There are lots of words that don't need "most" to be made superlative. There's no particular irregularity for "stupid" to be any different.
ED: Schmarx, What is wrong with gourmets is that they are fat bastards with no responsibility other than to fuss lyrical over some pretentious fucking plate while the 3rd World starves

Sorry, typo. So I more or less had to change one letter, which is somewhat faster than rewording it.
