Not so sure if this belongs in Chit-Chat or not. Anyway, over at the nationstates forums, there are two especially notorious rightwing posters, http://www.nationstates.net/you-gi-owe "You-Gi-Owe" and http://www.nationstates.net/nation=the_grand_world_order "The Grand World Order". Now, this You-Gi-Owe character oftentimes posts threads mostly consisting of flamebait towards the ideology of his choice, particularly 'liberals', with his rhetoric of "Z0mg Socialist Ebil Atheist Fascist Obamunists!" The man and his ilk don't understand the nature of Fascism whatsoever. GWO, however, even being a fascist nutcase, has indirectly come to the aid of our comrades by denouncing YGO's rhetoric in a slightly more intelligent flamebait, before moving in in an attempt to crush us with his own.

For instance, in one thread where YGO posted quotes from a Goldman book claiming that "Fascism is Left-Wing" (he even used the "Hippies liked veggies and Nazis liked veggies, therefore Hippies are Nazis" argument.) Eventually, of course, GWO came in and tried to explain his ideology and defend it in a way that rather seemed to have the opposite of its intended effect ("How dare you call me a commie?" and "Ever considered how much I hate these pansies?").

Now, I know that the guy is a fascist, and the other possible even more of a nutjob, but this seems rather like an unintended "Clash of the Titans" between rightwing ideologies. Almost like "The Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend", only with both parties pointing a gun in your general direction.

Thoughts? Discussion? Am I rambling much?
