Alright, I got a question for my comrades.

I've been thinking to myself, how goods would be distributed in a socialist economy.

Personally, I believe that the citizens can just purchase what goods they want from government stores (things like food, etc. so they can pick what they want, etc.)

Although, I believe that housing and other things like that should be provided by the state.

I deeply believe that NO country can have the EXACT socialist society as another country. Every society is different and they need to develop socialism in their own way. (This is why personally, I believe that the 'forcing' of socialism in other countries by the USSR failed.) ** If you could reply to this personal idea of mine, that'd be great! I'd like to hear what you, my comrades, believe in as well as the idea of the distribution of goods.

Cheers.

I think there would be a global network of warehouses linked to the same computerized inventory system meaning computers can move inventory around the world, so distribution wouldn't really be local but global with goods moving around the world as computers match supply with demand with humans only intervening when computers make mistakes and to fine tune the algorithms the computers use. Meaning in a socialist economy your TV might come from overseas as computers moves TVs from overseas surpluses to make up for local shortages.
