1. How did they get so many people?

2. The crowd is almost totally white, but there are black blokes in there, as well as Israeli flags, this is not the BNP, and the UAF continually pretending that they are is not working and looks foolish.

They got that many people because all the large parties in the uk are pro capitalist, so working people feel abandoned and voiceless.

That has caused 'some' working people to be lured by the simplistic and incorrect right-wing point of view that all our problems are caused by immigration, diverting the attention away from the steaming pile of shit we call capitalism.

Capitalists themselves are deliberately setting up situations to try to divide workers and to get working people squabbling amongst themselves rather than recognise the class nature of our problems.

United we can never be defeated... The capitalists fear unity among ordinary working people... so they try everything to break us up.... while exploiting us even more in the process!

The EDL/WDL have plenty of BNP activists in their ranks. One minute talking to them shows up their true nature.
I was on the counter protest in Swansea, and I happen to know a woman whose boyfriend was with the WDL protest. Her and her boyfriend are both committed BNP supporters and are VERY racist.

The 'Nazi-ness' of the WDL protest certainly wasn't just a regional abberation.. the racism and Nazi salutes were happening in Manchester and Birmingham too.
In fact most of the WDL supporters were not from Wales.

The UAF are a bit foolish for not recognising the true nature of the problem and for not supporting an alternative to capitalism.. but they are not foolish for flagging up the link between the EDL/WDL and the BNP...

A handfull of Muslims attack the UK because the UK is opressing their country. They didnt attack us until we attacked Muslim countries. It is a way of fighting back. The Irish did the same when we were over in their country.

I think Tony and Irishcomrad are correct. I have watched the YouTube video linked above by TonyMowbray and that is some really terrifying stuff.

When I watched that video, I noticed a related link on the right in YouTube that took me to something altogether more terrifying. It's a movie called "The ThirdJihad".

It depends on the nature of the opposition. I mean, if we had a really well coordinated movement we could have tried this out, i.e. seen what effect ignoring them had on their numbers for the demo following the one we ignored. However we can't call this. What if no one opposed it and they did what they did in Luton and smashed a few windows and gained alot of confidence?

I think the approach AFA employed in the 80s could be very effective.
