The other day I went to an older couple's house, both of whom are comrades and worked in their garden for free, except for some potatoes, onions and yummy chili for lunch. They live in a pretty isolated area, grow around 80 percent of what they eat, trade labor for medical treatment and other necessities. I could get used to labor trading.

Does anybody do similar things to help comrades? Anybody trade labor instead of money?

Yep I've done it before, it can be a real help sometimes, of course capitalist society in general isn't really that flexible with contribution so it's very limited in most cases.

In London, I can imagine that it would be harder than it would be in more rural areas.
