'Karl Marx' by Frnacis Wheen - Great Biography of Marx

Read this book on Holiday, very, very intersting. Portrayed old Charlie in a very human light (always skint, boozer etc). Also, the author, although not a Marxist, puts up a staunch defense of Marxism against both Stalinism and post cold war liberalism.

Highly reccomended.

i've read that book and found it really interesting too.
It was refreshing to discover Wheen had no political agenda and was just telling it how he saw it.
