It is my strong belief that religion has no place in politics, and whatever you practice in your spare time is up to you. For this reason, I will remain a Christian because I was brought up as one and will support the Socialist Workers Party still as a Christian.

So the reason you will stay Christian is because you were raised Christian? Doesn't seem that rational to me, but religion out of politics makes more sense.

Religion is politics, so of course and they have a place in politics. Its the politics of brainwashing the masses, is the politics of creating naive and scared people, is the politics to retain the human "slave" one way or another.
Its your choice if you want to be a Christian or not, but if it is just because you were raised such, and its the only reason you will remain Christian, then sorry but its a stupid reasoning.

I should've made it more clear, I was raised and I have decided myself that I want to be one.
