This is the stupidest AIDS awareness campaign ever. The time and money that must have been spent on making these pics of hitler and stalin and that other beard guy fucking some woman. What is the point?

Yea its Saddam, I think it's actually insulting for those suffering from aids. I have personally lost friends due to aids and one of my best friends now has aids.
It seems to portray them as reckless sex maniacs, which is awful.

Also, relating Stalin and others to aids just reenforces the idea that their pure evil, like a mindless disease in the earth, and therefore its justified to wipe them off the earth etc

Well forget about the theory the HIV came from monkeys (for example in the form of monkey based oral polio vaccine). It was actually Stalin and Hitler that created HIV. Saddam probably also was involved.

Not only is the concept fucked up, but where is the man on man action, or woman on woman? Surely if they were attempting to show dictator love, they would have had Hitler scoring it with another man for extra effect.

But seriously, this is such a ridiculous way to show how to fight against AIDS. There's explanation of contraceptives, medications which are now available to fight HIV and AIDS, all sorts of techniques to fight this horrible plague. These posters are as stupid as "if you use marijuana, you support terrorism. The terrorists will win."

I watched the video without the sound on; and I think that I'm going to have screaming nightmares for a while. That final twist at the end where the guy with whom the chick was having sex, looks up at the camera, and it's Hitler with a deranged grin on his face, actually is disturbing...it's like the kind of visual distortion that I have heard schizophrenics and drug addicts talk about in real life.

As for its original intent, no, I doubt that it will do much to get the Euro kiddies to keep their bratwurst in its casing.

I think that would have made this add quite a bit worse. It is already as you said a ridiculous concept and its rather sexist. I think the last thing they should have done is make it a man on man or woman on woman ad, due to the fact that, in the US at least, it is commonly considered by many a "gay disease that was brought to the straight community by those damn Bisexuals"(and yes someone actually said that to me once, hence the quotation marks). An AIDS add with homosexual sex on it would only further reinforce the negative stereotype of AIDS being a gay disease.
