A delegation of 12 people from the United States representing labor, immigrants, religious, youth, antiwar activists, including Hondurans living in the U.S., visited the beleaguered country of Honduras to witness the critical and dangerous situation brought about by the criminal coup d'etat on June 28.
They went when the illegal government of Roberto Micheletti had imposed a decree suspending all constitutional guarantees.
The delegation brought back important information from the Resistance, the people opposing the coup and struggling to reinstate Manuel Zelaya Rosales, the legal and elected president, information that has not been covered by the media in the USA.
Philadelphia-based Berta Joubert-Ceci was part of that delegation and will report about the findings, presenting also a 15 minute video.
