It's been getting cold 'round these here parts. Yesterday I worked outside on what was the coldest day for that date in a hundred years. I don't want to work in the cold today.
Been gettin' cold in your necks of the woods?

Not really. The average temperature for North West England in October is around 11 Celsius, or 52 degrees. Lately, it has seemed warmer than that. January and February tend to be the coldest months with an average of around 4 Celsius, or 39 degrees. The UK is lucky not to get too cold or too hot.
I'm about 10 degrees (lat/long) than you in Vermont (I'm at 53 degrees north, which is as north as upper Ontario), yet we tend to eb warmer at this time of year due to the Atlantic Drift.

Nah, here in Florida it been oddly summer hot even though we are in Fall, technically.
However, the weather people say there's a cold front coming this Friday; I don't feel it but perhaps tonight it will get a it cold.
EDIT: Is the 2 posters above me from Florida too...so my response is redundant. Sorry.
Oh, and in Puerto Rico it never gets cold.
Yo, you from Vermont!, send me snow!

It started snowing out of nowhere last night. The funny thing is that it's around 40-45 degrees Fahrenheit right now, and the temp was predicted to be 65 today.

That is cold!
Here we are in spring and will be coming in to summer in December. It is also now daylight savings, both of which are great. :)
Last time I checked though they are predicting a hot summer here. Bushfires and likely to be bad, even worse than previous years. Gotta hope not. :(
Weather has been pretty wild here aswell, actually. In the last few months we have seen wild winds, rain, hail (first major hail I've seen in 9 years) and... dust (http://news.ninemsn.com.au/slideshow_ajax.aspx?sectionid=9016§ionname=slideshowajax&subsectionid=155654&subsectionname=duststorm&rss=yes).

When it's -15 I admit it's cold. When it's -25 I'll start complaining. Anything warmer than -10 is slightly cool at most. Recenly it's been bouncing around zero degrees depending on the time of the day. Last week it was several degrees below zero however.
EDIT: In celsius degrees ofcourse.
EDIT: Here's some fahrenhit for you
-15 C = 5 F
-25 C = -13 F
-10 C = 14 F
0 C = 32 F

The coldest it is suppose to get is Sunday with a high of 69 F (I think something like 20 C for non American Comrades) and a low of 50 F (10C). Then back to mid-80's F (29ish C). Point is it is still fucking hot!

Its only 40 F around here and people think I am insane for walking around in a t-shirt. Its like these people don't live in Michigan or something.

When will you silly Americans learn to go metric with temperature?
And it's been quite nice down here in the West country. I can tell that it's definitely entering hoody season, mind

For everyone in Florida its actually not hot or that humid outside, for a change. :) There's a lot of rain today as well, but that's not out of the norm. It's probably going to be getting a little colder by tonight! :D:D:D

Ah so the other coast is getting the rain today? It came through here last night, the temp will drop about ten degrees after the rain stops. It's supposed to get down to 50 tonight (here). And it is pretty nice for Florida, however, the fact that I know it shall soon be in the 80's again makes me hate baynews9.

Yeah when the front dissipates in a day or two it'll be hot again. But as of now its really breezy, cool, and rainy and in the low 70's. I suspect it will be getting colder as well. This is some of the best weather we've had all year.

Im happy its getting cold. its about 47 degrees (f) outside right now. Been between 50 and 70 for the past few weeks, which is my favorite temperature range
I absolutely loathe how hot it is in the south during the summer

Anyways, I am glad to report it is finally a livable 47 F (Something like 8 or 9 C). Tomorrow, however, it will be hot again.

It's 47 f in north florida? Holy shit, that never happens this early in the year. It got down to the lower 60's here, it's still pretty chilly. Even though this will only last today and a little bit tomorrow its really nice to get a break from the heat.
