Fuck yeah, new Rammstein album is out. Just got it, its called Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da.
This is just a topic for any R+ lovers on Revleft who want to make comments about the new album, what you've heard of it, which tracks you like the best.
Here is the tracklist:
1. Rammlied
2. Ich Tu Dir Weh
3. Waidmann's Heil
4. Haifisch
5. B********
6. Fruhling in Paris
7. Wiener Blut
8. Pussy
9. Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da
10. Mehr
11. Roter Sand
Personally after my first few listens my favourites are Waidmanns Heil, Ich Tu Dir Weh, Pussy, and B******** (It means Buckstabu, Rammstein said its a word they created that means anything the listener wants it to mean). But its going to grow on me and maybe my favourite tracks will change over time. I really love Waidmann's Heil.
ALSO if you haven't seen the music video for the first single from this album, "Pussy", here's the link. Its a song about sex tourism, and its a classic Rammstein track. Reminiscent of Amerika imo:
CAUTION! EXTREMELY NOT WORK SAFE:

I didn't believe that they actually made a music video like that until my best friend showed it to me yesterday. You have no idea the shit storm that would go down if a band made a music video like that here in the States.

Rammstein is the band that got me learning German... along with Nena, admittedly.
I'm kind of disappointed that there's so much Englisch in "Pussy" though

If they made a song about sex tourism, I would really hope they are condemning it, or insulting the guys who engage in it. Sex tourism almost always means people from rich countries going to poor countries and taking advantage of women who are often literally slaves.

They absolutely would be. Barring any flagrant expressions of socialist attitudes, Rammstein are certainly hardcore leftists, with other leftists like Clawfinger working with them.

Actually after I posted that I went and checked the lyrics and though denser people might miss the point, and they are very crude, it does seem to be ridiculing the men who engage in sex tourism- with that line "can't get laid in Germany". That is particularly biting since prostitution is legal in Germany. In Viktor Malarek's book The Natashas, he mentions a strip of highway between Plzen(Czech Republic) and the German border frequented by German businessmen. It is lined with hundreds of trafficked sex slaves. The descriptions of the place were infuriating.

until half way in the video i thought "well thats not so bad, the video from NERD was way more hardcore" but than it propelled itself into the quite extreme

Aside from the single 'pussy' which I found boring and childish the rest of the album is very good. My favorites are Rammlied, Weidmanns Heil and Donaukinder (this song is on the special extended edition)

Man I love Donaukinder. Its an album-quality track for sure. I can understand why its not on the album itself though as, like the band said, it just doesn't fit with LIFAD's theme.
Donaukinder is Reise, Reise stuff for sure in terms of how it sounds and its themes :)

I got the deluxe album about a week after it came out, and I've been listening to it nonstop since then.
It never gets old! :thumbup1:

Well they've stated in interviews that they're actually more leftist than anything... and they wrote Links 2,3,4 to show that.
