Hello peoples,
I used to have an account on this prior but never really used it and have recently changed my e-mail address. The past couple of months i have found myself more and more interested in radical politics and hope to learn more from this forum as well as keep up-to-date with events as well as get more involved in local political shenanigans.
I had a flick through the Guide For Newcomers....
Where are you from, what's the leftist scene there like?
I'm from Glasgow and if i'm honest im only vaguely aware of the leftist scene here. I am aware of the SSP and Solidarity as well as various community projects across the city as well as the reltionship between republican politcs and left-wing politics but honsetly have not been heavily involved in anything.
What branch of leftism do you subscribe to?
Again because of my limited knowldege of 'leftism' id feel uncomfortable boxing myself in. Anti-racist, anti-secterian, anti-homphobic and basicaly anti-arsehole...thats the only thing i fully subscirbe to.
How did you become a leftist?
Be honest again and say i'm not sure if i even am. If by leftist you mean not a right wing money grabbing bigoted arsehole than i just guess i was born that way
