Note: I do not support the actions of the current Iranian government, nor the American.
Whenever Iran and WMDs are mentioned in the Bourgeoisie news it's always viewed as evil and immoral, especially by Americans. They seem to be neglecting the fact they have the world's second largest nuclear stockpile and have basically provoked future military confrontation with Iran, because patriots seem to view their state as the only state in the world, as if the world is theirs to control. Another state that only has a POTENTIAL to achieve nuclear CAPABILITY is then viewed as a threat to American interests. Just what exactly is it that makes America think it owns the world?

answer:
the fact they have the world's second largest nuclear stockpile
Not to mention military bases across the globe, major trading is done in our currency, position in the U.N. security council, our perceived status as the first "democracy" (which is bullshit; the U.S. is a constitutional republic)...
The list could go on and on..

The USA is crumbling right now. It will be interesting to see if America could rise again.

In my opinion, the UN has always been a tool of the USA. It's actions have always supported America, even the aggressive wars and invasions. Think of the UN as the central American world government.

Hardly crumbling, sure there is threats to its dominance mainly from China and emerging economies but America still has most weapons by far, the biggest military outlay, as well as bases around the globe.
It is in a slow decline, its hardly the last days of Rome to use a figure of speech,

I wouldn't say there is a decline at all, slow or not. Eventually the US will decline as a superpower but only through its defeat in a new world war.

Defeat in a new world war? Are we discussing the downfall of America or the human race?
I certainly think we're entering a multi-olar world, but to say America is crumbling is a bit premature, I think. The same view could have been said in the 1930s, when capitalist democracy looked like it was on its way out to fascism and stalinism. So much for that, eh?

It's either that or a domestic revolution.
