Ok, i was at Citylights bookstore in san francisco a while back, and i saw what looked to be the best book on the Spanish Revolution i had ever seen. i didnt pick it up at that time because i didnt have enough money, and settled for a different book. However, for some strange reason, i didnt write the name of the book or the author down. The book may be in two volumes, i cant remember. It is almost all red on the outside, and was paperback. If anyone knows what book(s) im talking about, could you please give me the Author, title, or ISBN. Im planning on doing some good, in depth reading on this subject, and this would be a great addition. Right now, on that subject, i will be trying to complete Arturo Barea's The Forging of a Rebel (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0802776159/qid=1057262155/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/002-1434120-5947243?v=glance&s=books), and after that i want to read the above unknown book. If anyone know what im talking about, some help would be appreciated. Also, if you know of other great books on the subject, then feel free to write them here. Another one im thinking about getting into is Sam Dolgoff's Anarchist Collectives: Workers Self Management in Spain 1936-39. If you have read this work, or heard about it, then a quick review would be nice, that will help me decide if it is a good read or not.
