The Uighur separatist leader recently spoke at Auckland Law school and some of my liberal friends are singing her praises.

Apparently she is a friend of George Bush and has some unhealthy associations with right wing circles. I don't trust her or her nationalist politics.

From what i know is , that she is very racist towards the Chinese people and also a huge anti-communist.

While Uighurs have very real and legitimate grievances, and are oppressed and occupied by China, this is the type of channeling oppressed minorities should be avoiding. Kadeer is a capitalist, and a hardcore one at that. She has nothing to offer Uighurs.

She was part of the Chinese government in the '90s.

Which isn't all that surprising. She had already built her wealth before then.
