the matrix reloaded is on in our country,i have seen
it.It has a lot of similiarity between matrxi and 1984.
The Big Brother can be seen in everywhere,matrix also
can.And thier influence,controlling everything,can be felt
by everyone lives in it.They try to wash eveyong's brain,to exploit them in their body and mind.They are also fond of finging people who have resistant thought,and kill them.They all control people through
high techonolg.But in face,<1984>has trully happened in
USSR,in my motherland.I am concerned the human's
future,will it come true the darker society than 1984?

Thats interesting that you compare it to 1984. You sound very much patriotic that you call the country you come from your motherland, which is very much admirable.

I am going to put this different than I normally would so that you are more likely to understand it if English is not your first language.

In the Matrix they do use technology to control people, but these people are not aware they are being controlled, they do not know they are inside a thing called the Matrix.

In 1984 however, they know they are being filmed and recorded all the time.

There is a difference here, that in one the control comes from the fact that they are unaware there is any forces controlling them and in the other they are physically restricted from doing certain things.

But yes, you are right there is great similarity in technology is used to control people.


To your other question as to whether 1984 will come true. Well the USSR has collapsed now, and also your motherland? I would think that the 1984-like society has collapsed there too?

It doesn't look as though our world is becoming like 1984 was, so I would not worry about the future of humanity in that respect.

But it is becoming possible for us to create a society similar to Oceania in 1984 as our technology developes.

I think that it is more about Man's inability to control technology in the Matrix, than about technology being used to manipulate Man. Fiction or otherwise, technology is part of us now, and we are part of it. Whether or not one will eventually take over the other is a matter of opinion. :)

Yes, thats interesting and true.

In 1984 technology is being used by humans to control people. But as you said, in the Matrix humans created technology that has gone out of their control and now manipulates man.
