I don't know about the rest of you, but as a researcher and enthusiast of the Russian Civil War, I came across this movie called Admiral, about the Russian naval commander Admiral Kolchak. The movie portrays him as a saintly figure (when part of his fleet is attacked during WW1 by the Germans, they start praying, and "magically" the German ship hits a mine and sinks ) (when he is executed, his body falls into a cross shaped hole in the ice); demonizes the Bolsheviks (Bolshevik sailors are shown executing mass numbers of people and throwing people with heavy stones tied to them into the water so that they drown); and completely falsifies the history of the Russian Civil War. The brutality of the Kolchak dictatorship in Siberia is skipped over; the harshness of Russian Bourgeoisie is ignored, they even are portrayed as gentle and kindly people! Apparently, the Russian Federal government helped fund this movie, and it was also distributed in the US by Fox movies.

Does anyone else feel sick reading my description of it? IMDB and Wikipedia both have sections on it.
